Children's Center
First Baptist Children's Center is part of the total ministry of First Baptist Church. It is a program that provides conditions that enable a child to realize his own God-given potential. We seek to develop children, not just provide custodial care. The center provides an atmosphere and environment for younger children that will help them develop in happy, healthy, caring surroundings.
In the center we offer childcare for infants through four year olds, a mother's day out program for one, two, and three year olds, a four year old morning preschool program, and after school care through grade five. A planned curriculum is offered for all ages. It includes activities that provide for individual differences, first-hand experiences, and activities that enhance self-concept. Our goal is to provide each child with adequate stimulation for physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Most importantly, this program does incorporate a curriculum that enables a child to become himself - the person God intended him to be.
Please be aware that after May of 2012, our Mother's Day Out and Four Year Old Morning Preschool programs will not be offered.
